Recently, i found out that my best friend was dating someone else. Normally this would make me happy, however, I am madly in love with him and was never able to tell him so. Well, it was causing a rift in our friendhsip, one that I couldnt figure out how to get rid of unless I told him my feelings. However, I am way to much of a chicken to do that. Im sure someone out there can relate. Well, last night we were talking in my messenger, and he kept asking me whats was wrong. I still couldnt tell him. Eventually another friend of mine told me to tell him, and I just told him one thing. I told him that I love him. He was silent for a moment, then responsed with I'm hurting you arent I. I felt so bad, I knew he had figured it out, all of it. There was no reason to lie anymore, so thru some major tears, Ill told him everything, and that it wasnt his fault, it was mine. Now for the surprising part. He understood. He told me he never wanted to hurt me, and that I will still his best friend. He wanted nothing to come between that. We are as close as we ever were, and the pressure that was building inside me, and the pain, s gone. I finally slept last night, very well, and I am able to look at other possibilities for a relationship now. So dont keep it inside, no matter how scared you are. JUst a word of advice straight from the horses mouth.
