Gonna fry

I think that it will get hotter and hotter until we eventually fry. I was watching TV the other day and it said in the 1940s the record for the hottest day was in the 60s (here in Idaho), and the record today is in the 100s. It then occured to me that every summer it gets hotter and hotter until we will fry. Scientists have probably figured this out, but this JUST occured to me. Shows how much I know. *Snorts*

Well, I didn't know which folder to put this in...

How it changed my life:

It didn't really, it might change the lives of those in the future... in about a century... :P

Date: 7/25/2003 2:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 62184    That would be a lil creepy to get the feeling of. Ohio's the complete opposite tho, it goes from really hot one summer to kinda chilly the next.. it keeps that pattern. ~*Silent Existence*~
Date: 7/25/2003 2:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 53909    The hottest day in Idaho is 60? Wow, I used to go there a lot. Thought that it get hotter weather there. Yea, that would be freaky if everything would fry up like that.

Date: 7/25/2003 2:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 49150    Nah, before we fry there would be an ice age. This is due to the ice melting in the north atlantic and disrupting the gulf stream. Now it would be an ice age in western Europe, so you could go there to cool off.
Date: 7/25/2003 2:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    Should we invest in sunscreen?
Date: 7/25/2003 2:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 28848    Ummm...well I think when you are refering to historic weather you have to take in consideration of the location that you are talking about. Because some places on earth have always been really hot, even back during the good ole days..lol.
Date: 7/25/2003 3:25:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 62265    Thax for all the comments, LoL I didn't even think about an Ice Age *Slaps hand on forehead* D'oe! *Goes to buy sunscreen* Release Me- You're probably right!

Date: 7/25/2003 5:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 22992    I think science wont fail us and we will have methods of protection by then..
Date: 7/25/2003 5:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 62246    I think your thinking of Global warming. I don't think we will fry, I think we will drown. The global warming is causing glaciers and all snow and Ice to melt! Which will someday cover all the earth if it keeps up. (Alaska has REALLY DEEP snow and ice atleat 4 mi. deep in places). And don't forget Greenland and Antarctica! ~Kaitlin
Date: 7/25/2003 6:11:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 62265    LordOx-probably Kaitlin- Okay FIRST we'll drown and THEN our bodies will boil!! MWAHAHAHA!
Date: 7/25/2003 7:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 62249    NMaybe... or maybe it will start to decrease... and you'll freeze instead. lol, just a thought

Date: 7/26/2003 6:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 20977    I've thought about this before, but you know, it changes so slowly that we are adapting to it.
Date: 7/26/2003 9:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 47805    Now I'll know what it's like to be in a microwave..
Date: 7/26/2003 9:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 47805    ...or a freezer..
Date: 7/26/2003 10:07:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 62265    Korn Star-... or we'll all move to the moon! LoL!

Date: 8/1/2003 9:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 22628    i think it meant the record for that particular day... maybe it rained that day.
Date: 2/27/2004 10:45:00 AM  From Authorid: 27741    LOL the average temperature only goes up by a few fractions of a degree every year. And the continents are moving, in a few million years time Australia will be near the equator, and lower California will break off and move up to near where Alaska is!
