Maube you could talk to the perosnin charge about her bad habits? Or perhaps when she does work and she has to close the bar give her a dose of her own medacine. Complain to her and make her do everything.  |

Thanks guys for your replies....HEY that rhymes! lol I have talked to my manager about her but unfortunately we are in too much of a pinch for people in the bar so they can't do anythign about it YET.....hopefully soon we will get some relief then they can phase her out...or something....it's frustrating.... peace!  |

It's sound like you and your co-workers need to do some heavy complaining to your boss, she should be terminated. There's no reason why she should be there doing nothing, and yet get paid, while you do all the work.  |

I feel for you because I completely understand how you feel. I'm a housekeeper at a pretty big hotel and lately it's been sold out every night, which means, we have every room to clean every morning. Well lately, one of my coworkers has really been slacking off. Yesterday morning she practically spent the whole day on the phone or complaining to everyone about one thing or another. Well, around eleven thirty in the morning, she refused to do a bad bathroom and just left, dropped the scrubber in the nasty toilet on the way out. She quit, and left me and one other girl there to clean alllllll the rest of the rooms. WE were there very late yesterday. I know what it's like to have a lazy and bad coworker and I feel bad for ya!  |

Well, today I decided to change my attitude. I said to myself, "I'm going to be happy if it KILLS ME!" haha so I spent a few minutes smiling at myself in the mirror and when I got to work I was actually quite happy, in a great mood. People said "Hey, Michelle, how are you?" I said "GROOVY!" lol they looked at me like I was on some weird drugs even one guy looked in my eyes he said he was checking to make sure I was really ok. HAHA anyway so this girl was acting like she was really sick (the lazy one who calls in sick alot) she was saying that she might have epstein barr (my sister had that so I understand how debilitating it can be) so I was being a little more patient and compassionate with her. I decided that I really did need to make some extra $$ so I told her it's ok to leave I would close out the bar. So she clocks out, goes to the other side of the bar where some people she knows were drinking, and MADE PLANS TO GO OUT TO ANOTHER BAR WITH THEM! I was SOOOOOOOOOOO LIVID! I couldn't believe it! How can someone who is 'so sick' keep going out and partying like that???? Anyway again I had to put my attitude in check, I can't control her I can only control myself. But still! Anyway, that's my update for the evening. Thanks for listening. (or reading.) lol Peace

What A little brat She dose sound anoying. Well just refuse to do her work complaine to the boss about this. Just don't let her get in your way you should at least get her some her wages since you did do her work.
