ha, nope nope... had i told you... i wouldn't have had that laugh  Hmm... that almost sounded bad-me laughing while you're all scratched up! ~if it makes you feel any better... my dog is that same way! ...kind of.. he wont go near the tub-and once hes done with the bath (after you lift his 80-some lb butt up and put him in the tub) he doesnt' look at anyone for a few days, he wont even accpet any treats |

LOL! I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop laughing. It was very brave of you to give a cat a bath on your own. It takes 3 of us to give our cats a bath. God only knows how many bites and scratches we got. My bf tried to give Tigger a bath by himself. Then I hear a scream and a yelp. It was both the cat and my bf. LOL! I even took pictures of the cats when they had baths. hehe, yeah i tried to clean one by taking into the shower, its feet turned into helicopter blades and I had to dodge the furious claws and fangs, when i dropped the cat, it jumped up and over the stall and right into the cat box all wet ;0  |

Try giving a bath, inside or out, to a very uncoopertative 210 pound Newfoundland dog.I'll take a cat any day if a choice had to be made as to the easier one to get give a bath to.Good luck in the future.  |

when give my cat a bath i wrape him in a wet towel. Then slowly wash. That is what i did for my cat. It saved me a lot of scratches. thanks for sharing.

i didnt think you were supposed to bathe cats. if you want to do it again, just open a capsule of benadryl and sprinkle it in some canned cat food., not too much food tho. it will make them tired and they give up faster. trust me, i know. and it dosnt hurt them at all becasue they give that to them at the vet. peace.  |
