Oh , I totally agree with you! There is almost nothing as bad as a hot humid day out shopping with the kids and forget where you are parked at. And the kids aren't old enough to fan out and signal by jumping up and down on top of the van , when they have located the vehichle.  |

BUT most of those are in black and white.. i think cars should be equipped with a waving flag... where you press a button on the remote and something shoots up and waves to show you where your car is  |

Well, when you get out of your car, you need to take note of landmarks, numbers that are posted on nearest poles, and the name of the store you are parked closest too, or count the number of rows from the curb/store/marker, etc. If you do that, plus make sure you exit the same entrance you went into the mall, you shouldn't have any problems. It is when you just jump out of the car in a crowded parking lot, and pay no mind to where you are in relation to the things/markers around you, that you get into the "amnesia" trap.  |
