There ought to be a code purple at malls and shopping centers!

I firmly believe there ought to be a code purple for people who have forgoten where they parked thier car,due to shopping amnesia. Such people afflected so, can go to the information desk and state that they forgot where they parked. The person at the desk can call security on the little walkie talkies they cary. A security offficer can cordially walk the shopping amnesiac up to where the monitors are so they can see if they can figure out from the camera pictures where thier car is at.

And the kids aren't old enough to fan out and signal by jumping up and down on top of the van , when they have located the vehichle.
Date: 7/25/2003 10:14:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    that could cause a few issues....but having cameras at all the cars and in an open area to see would be nice
Date: 7/25/2003 10:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    BUT most of those are in black and white.. i think cars should be equipped with a waving flag... where you press a button on the remote and something shoots up and waves to show you where your car is
Date: 7/26/2003 12:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 36766    they should have something like that for concerts, I'm constantly forgetting where in the world I park my car at
Date: 7/26/2003 6:40:00 AM  From Authorid: 36967    should be for football games too ;-)

Date: 7/26/2003 10:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 24924    Well, when you get out of your car, you need to take note of landmarks, numbers that are posted on nearest poles, and the name of the store you are parked closest too, or count the number of rows from the curb/store/marker, etc. If you do that, plus make sure you exit the same entrance you went into the mall, you shouldn't have any problems. It is when you just jump out of the car in a crowded parking lot, and pay no mind to where you are in relation to the things/markers around you, that you get into the "amnesia" trap.

Date: 7/26/2003 8:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 22080    lol...riiight, you know, thats probably what half the people in the parking lots are, i can just imagine their thoughts "where did i park that thing, i should invest in a tank, id be able to find that"
