I don't think they should have any right to file any type of discrimination lawsuit,or any type of lawsuit for that matter.. |

NO! If they are here illegally; they are not tax paying citizens. They are guests/visitors or whatever; and should have no say-so on the laws. I am an American citizen, and if I went to visit another country, I do not have any rights to file lawsuits because I was discharged from that country. If a country orders someone out of a country; that is THEIR right; THEIR reason, to do so. |

I have a great deal of resentment about imigrants who come to Canada or the United States because when I came to Canada in 1975-76 I was treated like a piece of scum and I had to wait until I was old enough to apply for my citizenship. But Imigrants come into our countrys and get everything served to them on silver platters and they get everything fast unlike me I had to wait for 18 years until I finally got my citizenship a long time later. The system needs to be fixed to equal rights for everyone who requires it's help!!! ...Kim... |

Frankly-I think illegal immigrants should have NO rights. I resent the fact we have American citizens sleeping on the streets, without medical care, and going to bed hungry, when illegals are allowed to collect food stamps, medicaid, and social security benefits. I don't mean to sound harsh, BUT America is not the "great PX". People with Student Visas, Work Visa's, and applicants for citizenship should have limited benefits. As long as they comply with rules set forth for visas. However, to allow illegals to sue for employment termination, is silly, in my opinion. |

Also, in 1989, I had two friends, American born, who had excellent credit, who were in their laye 20's who fought like crazy to get a small-buisness loan so they could buy a TBY place. They both made a LOT of money, but their young ages, made it tought to get a loan. HOWEVER, I found out that within 48 hours of arriving in our country, a immigrant could apply for a small-buisness loan, FEDERAL LOAN, without collateral, and they would get it. I have a REAL problem with that. Now, they did eventually get their loan. But, it was unfair, in my opinion. |

That is just rediculous! they don't have citizenship, so they don't get to have all the rights that we do. I mean, what would the point be to gain citizenship if you get the same privilages without it? psh.. |

No way should any illegal aliens have the right to file law suits against anyone in any country that they have entered illegally! Instead they should be sent back to their own country immediately for doing so . Allowing someone these priveleges simply encourages that many more people to come here to collect "free money!" |

Illegal immigrants have no rights. An amnesty would be a good thing so we can do something about it. A company that employs illegal immigrants are going against the law. The whole business is sad. |

If they aren't legal in the country than why should they have the right to have all the rights true-blue Americans do? |

There is no debate over this...they already are allowed and have been allowed. It is based mostly on the 14th Amendment Equal Protection clause that has its basis not in citizenship, but on Human-ship. Being a human grants you certain rights regardless of nationality, and those include our very basic rights here in the United States-speech, religion, education, protection from unlawful search and seizure, and whatnot. I would be interested, however, to hear how this one turns out considering it deals with employment discrimination. |
