Final Fantasy definitly owns all. It has broken ground in every way possible. It was one of the first RPG's back in the day of the ORIGINAL Nintendo gaming system. Then it hit huge against with Final Fantasy 7 for Playstation in arguably one of the best games of all time. Then it stretches the PS2 to the brink of its graphics capabilities with FFX. With more coming out! It's the longest RPG series as well. Face it, they might not as call them RPG's anymore.. Just call them "Final Fantasy wannabies" -  |

Final Fantasy was called Final Fantasy because Square put all their budget into that game and if it didn't sell it would be 'final'. Something inside me wants to say that so bad, but the games definitely were up and down. However parts 5,6,7,9, and 10 I loved so much and part 4 I loved the little summoner child. However, I'm not going to say Final Fantasy, it was innovative but there are a lot of others that go unnoticed. Lunar games (omg I must have played every incarnation of the first one and it's still so touching with Luna and Alex and... *sniffles* lol and part two with Lucia and the pendant and Hiro and Ruby and her becoming human... *sniffles again*). So I would say either Lunar, Arc The Lad, or Final Fantasy (I still say Cloud and Tifa for life). Wait... or the whatever of Mana series. =-bootz-=  |

I agree with SMooth Criminal. Final Fantasy has it downpat. I have three RPG videos of them in my Kaaza the most common one is the Vertical Horizon Episode. Someone really did a number there. OK enjoy!  |

The best of all time would have to be what is probabky the oldest of all time, Dungeons and Dragons. Of course, as a old time dungeon master, I am biased.  |
