Mother Nature!---Moon Girl

Well we were going to go to the coast today! Plans changed! We went east instead! To the mountains. We were driving towards the eastern Oregon fires! At times visability was very dense! It was hard to see, yet alone breathe. I wanted to see the fires.

The smoke got so bad we turned around & went back towards home! I was pouting, lol cuz I just wanted to be with nature & ground my self.

We turned into this boat ramp place & walked to the rivers edge. The smoke was still there yet I found this beautiful huge rock that looked like a recliner chair! It was right above the river.

It was warm & the water clear. I was watching for fish. Suddenly this huge bird flew close to us. I sat up straight & watched this beautiful bird. He was so big & graceful! I felt sorry for him cuz of all the smoke in the air. He came closer! I gasped OMG! It's an eagle! A bald eagle! He really wasn't bald, he had a white head & a golden beak! I have never seen an eagle before, yet alone one like this!

He kept coming closer, we sat in awe. I felt blessed somehow. What a beautiful bird he is. Then he flew off & we couldn't see him anymore! I was jumping up & down! OMG! I just had an experience with an eagle!

As we were walking back to the car, a huge buzzy dragon fly escourted us to the car! He was blue! Big! An eagle & dragon fly in one encounter!

I so needed this in my life at this time! I again say I feel like I have been blessed in some way! Mother nature is so beautiful.

It was an incrediable experience.---Moon Girl

Date: 7/26/2003 8:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 22992    Nature is such an incredible thing indeed, we often get so caught up in material things that we forget how awesome plain and simple nature is. We find simple things so amazing because we deal wih dumb old complez ones every day. I try to expereince nature at least once a day, living right next to the lake i accomplish it. You never realize how much is truly out there, and how good life is, until you just sit around and realiz natures true potential. Thank you for posting this.. it is perfect at this time because i have alot of work to do, and this honestly made me relax..haha. *hugz* thanks moony

Date: 7/26/2003 8:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 23101    Sounds to me, my niecey, that all you need when your down is to take a step outside and let Mother Nature do her job. After all, all mothers want are for you to be happy. And I think that nature did just that for you. Don't you think? I do. Infact, I know. I'm glad you had a nice time my niecey.. .. *Huge Hugglies* Stay Sweet,
Date: 7/26/2003 8:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 54084    At least Mother Nature likes you, she keeps knocking tree branches on my brand new truck. She blew one today that ripped my tonneau cover. A few months ago, she made a huge ice storm that knocked a huge branch on my truck that dented the whole hood. I mad at her right now! LOL! Glad you enjoyed it. Aren't bald eagle's majestic? We have a breeding pair on our lake in northern MI.
