The 'Cooking Ghost' is what people call the spirit who resides in this mansion.Oak Lawn mansion is now an office building owned by the Howard County District Court, but employees often smell bacon and eggs frying or the aroma of fresh soup in their offices, despite the absence of cooking appliances in the building. In the 1970s, a rocking chair in one man's office became notorious for rocking back and forth by itself, and once, a dense white fog materalized on the stairway.Same source,p.207.33 DEGREE How it changed my life: Do ghosts get hungry?
