You Don't Know What You've Got Till It's Gone!!.................. ~Rika~   Author:  35720  Category:(Poetry) Created:(7/29/2003 9:28:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (633 times) All my dreams go down the drain All the thoughts escape my brain All the times you said you cared All the laughter that we shared After all that we've been through After all the "I Love You's" How you looked into my eyes How I kneeled down as I cried How the blood gushed from the wound How you had to leave so soon All these things and many more God, I beg you, I implore Please don't let my true love die Please don't make me say goodbye Tighten my grip and scream "God why?" As I look up toward the sky Soon the cold wind disappears Though my eyes are filled with tears So many things were left unsaid I turn around there in my bed I see a figure lying there And then I pray a silent prayer I quietly click on the light And there I see a lovely sight You look at me and sweetly smile And I just stare there for a while And say "I had a dream tonight, And I'm so glad that you're alright" You kiss me gently and wipe my tears You abolish my pain and all my fears Then you yawn and pull me near And I thank God that you're still here Love, the famous, Rika People say you don't know what you've got until it's gone.. don't let that be the case!
