I don't agree with your post at all, although I respect your right to your opinion. When writing something like this though, you generally gain more credibility if you write the positives too, so people can make their own decision. I feel Pres Bush is a very good man, he's not only a good husband and father but a VERY GOOD PRESIDENT. Pres Bush has delt with more issues in ONE term, than most presidents see in two. He has done a lot of good in his first term even though he's never had a second to relax. It's amazing how people mention things to demean him but they could never handle things nearly as well, if they were president under the cirumstances he has been. I admire many things about him... not backing down to Saddam and getting rid of a MASS murderer while others ignored it for years, passing a nation-wide child abduction alert program (Amber Alert), doing all he can to prevent further terrorist attacks upon us and other innocent countries. I also admire the fact that he doesn't stoop down to the level of others, whose tactics of interogation are extremely questionable. |

we had no real reason to go to war though. i mean, back awhile ago, yes.. but.. at this point no.. people have died for reasons that didn't even exist.. have u seen the news? he lied about the weapons of mass destruction.. he lied about a lot of things, and he's making himself look good by doing something else which probably isn't true either. |

Ummm Emi, I basically watched the entire war. Yes, WE had more than enough reason to go to war. Doing nothing would only promote this monster to continue his murders and atrocities. We should have done this years ago in completion. As for WMD's yes, they have plenty of proof to back that up but do you think that Saddam was dumb enough to leave it lying around out in the open? No, they already had people openly admit that it was destroyed before the war started. What you want to call lies.... only look that way right now. Saddam was involved with Al Quaeda and these ties have been proven. No, they haven't released ties to 9-11 but I'm sure Saddam was happy to see that outcome of that. Saddam was a bomb that had long been ticking and causing havock and was just waiting to explode on our turf. Bush made the right decision and I commend him for that. |

You didn't mention the fact that he cut Medicaid for adults as of August 31, unless you're pregnant or homeless. Both of my parents lost their benefits. My father has trouble working due to Diabetes-related circulatory problems. My mother's had 2 strokes and a mild heart attack in the last year and has Angina. Bush has pretty much left them to die because he needs money for his army toys and business partners. That's the only reason I needed. ~Nytwolf~ |

Do not agree with any of your statements. Do admire your coming forward with your views - many people your age really "do not care." Obviously, you care very much for the environment and the increased prison population doubling over the past ten years - odd, Bush has not even completed one 4-year term. Anyway, keep reading and remember most of the time politics is never what it seems. RAT |

For those of you telling me to list 15 good things that he has done... you are obviously only challenging me because you are one-sided on the issue. No president is perfect but at least this one is TRYING to do the right thing, even though he's delt with MORE in 1 TERM (not quite even yet), than any other presidents deal with in 2. So NO, I don't have to give you a list of 15 positive things because given most of the attitudes displayed here, I doubt you'd acknowledge them anyway. Try to be a bit more open-minded. Oh, any BTW Author...."the truth you think these people see" is only yours and it's your opinion to call the President an idiot; which is rude and naive I might add. No offense. |

I agree, I would listen if you posted 15 things he has done that there is concrete proof of. I read the "initial three" that you provided and only one of them is a proven issue and that is the Amber Alert. In case you hadn't noticed, There is not proof of WMD and as far as Saddam is concerned, that isn't an issue dealt with it is a mess we made that we are finally deciding to clean up. <regretfulhalo> |

Blah, Blah, Blah..... This is too funny. I'm sorry but I haven't yelled at anyone, only stated facts. After all... I'm not the one calling the President an idiot and copy and pasting something off the internet that is extremely bias. I don't have to provide 15 items because personally, it wouldn't matter to any of you anyway. You are all only listening to what you want to hear about the president. I would love to see anyone one person here deal with all that he has and do it better.... NOW that is something that could never happen. PennyRoyal... forgot to add, you said you don't like war or see any good reason for it. That might be because you're living in a country where your family isn't murdered before your eyes, you have rights even though your female, can attend school past elementary level, haven't been used as an example for some crazy-man's mission by being blown-up in front of a building and have enough food for you and your family. I'm sure the Iraqi's could tell you why WAR can be a good thing. If no one ever defended themselves and war never happened, we wouldn't have a free country. Many men have died in war defending what they believed in and those they love and are hurt by people who say they're against war. |

"I don't mind opinions and constructive critcism but when you can't offer anything of the opposing nature in your view, it only shows prejudice." Ummm, the opposing view is what we are asking for from you and you are the one not providing it. So we are prejudiced because you personally can't find 15 reasons why the president should be supported? The only person being rude or narrow minded here at this post is you. It is fine if you can't support your claims with facts or if you don't want to, just say that. But don't pretend like the reason you are not supporting yourself is because "we don't want to hear it". There are 4-5 people here who have asked for the info quite nicely and you keep talking about how it is a waste of time cause no one would listen. But we are the immature and prejudiced ones? The only one around this particular post who is "too funny" right now is you YOUCHOOSE. I find it extremely rude and childish of you to assume that simply because we agreed that we weren't happy with the shadiness of the Bush Admin that we would never listen to the other side of an argument. Oh, but I forgot I am judgmental and wouldn't listen to you no matter what...Yeah someone around here is real funny, but it isn't the "haha" kind of funny...<regretfulhalo> |

I didn't write this post and came here to state my opinions only. I did that and am only being targetted here because I won't jump on everyone eles's band-wagon. If people want to be better informed then THEY should seek out this information on their own so they will know how it was obtained and by what resources. No offense but I have a lot of things going on in my life and hardly have time to sit here and brief others on 15 positive things about the president. I think that any intelligent person can seek out the obvious resources on this information. I didn't ask anyone here to provide me with 15 more reasons to "hate the president." I mean really. I can tell when someone is asking a question or for information with the intention of only rehashing ridicule (not you in particular). I am entitled to come to this post as is any other PERSON here that didn't agree with it and express that. THIS ISN'T a debate it's a discussion.
