Gambling with the Devil

A loooooong time ago, two lords were playing cards in a parlor, late Saturday night. At 11:50, a servant walked in and reminded them that is was unholy to gamble on Sunday, but they were too wrapped up in the game to listen. At 11:55, the servant came back and reminded them of the time, but they just said "I will play til the Doomsday!!" and it was at that. At the stroke of midnight, a strange man dressed in black walked in. He sat down at the playing table, and laid out three rubies, and the game played on. At 12:10, the servant opened the door, and saw something that terrified him. The masters were playing, in the middle of a room engulfed with fire.
