Slip...Crash....BOOM!!...............TinaLuck

Good Evening USM,

Well, today was a very crazy day for me...and exausting...LOL!!

I spend some time in the emergency room......Not fun at all..

My Five year old son Bradley...Decided to wrap himself up in a blanket and horse around this morning....He was having a blast...for a bit at least...I just let him pretty much do whatever he likes as long as he is having fun...and not doing anything dangerous...

Well, the next thing I knew...He must of slipped on the end of the blanket he was wrapped up in...and he fell...The way he was wrapped in the blanket made it so his hands were inside...and he could not brace himself...So, he fell on his head..

The floors in the apartment are cement...so it didn't make much of a bang...but, he cried like I never heard him cry in a long time...

So, I got a cold cloth and put it on the side of his face...He hit up close to his eye...And it was turning blue...quickly...

So, I held the cloth there until he stopped crying...and then I wanted to look to see how bad it was...and how close it got to his eye...it was pretty darn close...but, he stopped crying and just told me that his head ached all over...

So, I held him like any parent would do...and then he started to complain about his stomach hurting..and then I thought...well, we will rest on the bed for a minute...just so his stomach will relaxe...I told him that he could not go to sleep and he was tired...he wanted to..

he no more than laid down on the bed when he said..."mom, I think I am going to be sick"...Well, off we went to the bathroom...we stood there for a minute and then he came over to me...I went to pick him up and that was all it took...We spent an extra few minutes in the bathroom.

I got worried and called my dad...and they called the hospital and told me to bring him right in...and that is what we did..

We had to stop along the road a few times...Just because he thought he was going to vomit again...but, out of the few times we stopped he only did once.

We got to the hospital...and we got right in...No waiting around...THANK GOODNESS!!...And the doctor checked him all over and put him on a 24 hour watch...but, I could take him home to do the watching...We spent a little time around the hospital..he was sick again after we left the hospital...and then he had a little nap...I was picking at him the whole time he was sleeping...just to make sure he was alright...

Now, since he has been home he has been fine...He is back to the same old same old little boy....into everything and never shuts up...I have never been so happy to here him talk so much or get on my last nerve...LOL!!

So, my Sunday quiet day has been full of excitement....How about yours??
