(heh. I'm going to try to make this like a TV commercial showing whats coming to their network the next season. I think we have a USM TV type thing going on here, but I am starting my own little network, called Emi-Vision. dumb, huh? lol. So, this will be its first show, starting in September.. and for the record, the music playing for this is Evanescence's "Understanding")
People can be heard talking franticly in the distant, hospital moniters beeping and doctors asking for backup. A woman who is badly beaten is on the hospital bed, blood coming from her eye, bruises all over her face. As the view goes out, you can see the doctors working on the woman's stomach, trying to stitch up a knife wound. A doctor calls out for something to help stop the internal bleeding.
The view flashes over to a woman standing at the doorway watching. Her long brown hair has fallen out of its neat pony tail and her clothes are covered in dirt, nothing showing on her black pants but dirt and blood on her white cardigan. She closes her eyes, whispering a prayer that is too low to be heard.
The woman looks up suddenly, hearing the the heart monitor flatline. The doctors try to revive the woman on the bed, but finally shake their head and cover her up.
The woman walks out of the room, looking down the hospital hallway while nurses and doctors frantically try to help others in the emergency room.
The voice of the woman can be heard now as she watches: "I spent my childhood wishing to get out of the drama, then went into the field of crisis help. And now my life is full of flatlines and tears."
The camera shots changes, showing first a regular looking house, then the inside of the house where a man is beating his wife. It then moves to a girl in her her room cutting herself with a razor, and quickly moves to a mother shaking her baby. A male announcer comes on as these images continue to show and repeat.
"Behind the hospitals, behind the police, there are people who do everything in their power to help people get back on their feet and survive. And she is only one of them, but one of their best."
Coming in September of 2005 on EV network...
