We Reserved Our Ceremony/Reception/Wedding Night Site!!!!...................... ~Rika~

Brennan and I have been searching and searching for a place for our wedding and the times running out, because most weddings are booked a year in advance and we're past that!

So, recently, we came across "The Sayre Mansion" of Bethlehem, PA. Instantly after looking at the picture, we both knew this was our wedding place. After researching it and reading more into it, we learned that both the ceremony AND reception can be held here. PLUS, our out-of-state guests can stay the night as well as us (we'd get the huge suite of course ;D) for the night until they left for home in the morning and we left for our honeymoon.

So of course, we reserved it for our wedding date.. August 1, 2004.

If you'd like to see a picture of the mansion, click here: http://www.boomspeed.com/xfamousx/themansion.jpg

We're so excited as we slowly get closer and closer to our wedding day!

Love, the famous,

Rika

Date: 8/25/2003 10:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 49498    Midnightly, No offense or anything, but is sounds like you're trying to rain on our parade and everything. I mean congrats on your engagement..but you could be nicer about what our prefrences are instead of making everything we've done seem obsolete...
Date: 8/26/2003 12:02:00 AM  From Authorid: 36766    that looks like a really nice place...3 grand? now I think that's pretty cheap if ya ask me, way to save some money for the honeymoon...I don't mean like cheap cheap, meaning ya'll are BEING cheap lol I mean it's a good price
Date: 8/26/2003 12:04:00 AM  From Authorid: 36766    Bethlehem, PA? what part of PA is that in? I think I'm somewhat near that, I forget right now

Date: 8/26/2003 3:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 18527    We got married at a historic mansion in Virginia
Date: 8/26/2003 5:47:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 35720    Midnightly, we're not wasting money on a photographer. We're going to get professional photos taken about 2 weeks before the wedding and then we're going to have disposables at each table for the guests to take pics. Brennan's friends are going to take the "professional" pictures because they're into that.
Date: 8/26/2003 5:48:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 35720    Thanks for replying, Sweety.
Date: 8/26/2003 5:48:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 35720    That's nice, Midnightly.
Date: 8/26/2003 5:50:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 35720    Thanks Angel! I think it's pretty dang cheap too! I mean, we get full use of all facilities, it's like the mansion is ours for the day/night! $3000 is pretty good for rental of 3 outside rooms, the garden to have the ceremony, and 17 guest rooms! Now that's a good deal! PLUS, you get the wedding consultant AND caterer in the package! So we won't have to worry about that.
Date: 8/26/2003 5:51:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 35720    Angel, it's by Allentown, east central PA.
