This is a hard one. But it's your neice's life and her decision. I understand your feelings though. Your husband's views should be considered too, and if your neice truly wants to start anew she won't want a constant reminder. I don't know. I know that adopted kids do go through traumas later on. You could maybe insist that some contact is included in the deal. Sorry if I am not helpful.  |
