Thus begins the downfall of the Batman franchise.
District Attorney Harvey Dent (who seemed to change from a black man to a white man from last time we saw him) is attacked during a courtroom argument, getting acid thrown on half his face. His face becomes disfigured, and his mind becomes the same way. He becomes the criminal, Two-Face. Two-Faces kills the parents of Dick Grayson, an acrobat. Grayson, who swears revenge on Two-Face, is taken in by Bruce Wayne. He later finds out Wayne's secret, and becomes Robin. A disgruntled worker at Wayne Enterprises, Edward Nygma decided to turn to a life of crime. He becomes The Riddler. In the mist of all this confusion, Bruce Wayne starts dating a psychologist who has an obsession with Batman, Dr. Chase Meridan. The Riddler invents a machine that can read people's minds and give him their intelligence. Becoming smarter and smarter, he teams with Two-Face. Batman and Robin must face Two-Face and Riddler in an epic battle.
