TV like anything else is only as detrimental as you allow it to be. There are some questionable movies, shows, etc., yet, you do have the power to either turn the channel or cut the tv off all together.  |

there's no doubt about how society has changed since the invention of television, but, it also has its good points along with the bad, people do have the choice of what they watch, and as for the kids, I think its up to the responsibility of the adults to check out what the kids are watching, personally I love watching certain programmes and I have to admit that even at my age I have learnt a lot from television...things are discussed more openly on it than previous years....hugs  |

ive watched nothing but educational shows lately, kinda creepy to me, also ive been watching the news alot, i havent been screwed up mentally yet, im just more educated and more politically aware  |
