Since I've started school, I've been sleeping A LOT! Getting 6 hours of sleep nightly and then coming home after school and sleeping for 4 more! Is that normal? I feel like all I do is sleep anymore! I haven't done anything but sleep, homework, and talk on the phone or net for the past three weeks! Is that healthy?

And I'm having a sneezing fit thats been bugging me for about two hours now and WON'T go away! I've been sneezing, sniffling, blowing my nose, and complaining about it! I've taken Allegra, and some other stuff that my dad gave me about an hour ago, and it still isn't helping! I feel like I want to cryyyyy! :(

Okay.. I'm done complaining about it.. lol.. *huggies* Thanks for reading *sneezes*

The really sneezy, tired, and sore Katie!

Date: 8/27/2003 9:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    you might be sick with something and causing the extra sleep....or you could be getting ready to grow....I think teens they do suggest 8 full hours of sleep though.....some people need more others don't....as long as your not sleeping like 12 or 18 hours a day I wouldn't worry too much...

Date: 8/27/2003 9:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    and if it makes ya feel better on nights where I have school the next morning I sleep about 6 hours....and I'd say 80% of the time I come home and take a nap also...long days do that to ya...on days I don't have classes I'll sleep 9 or 10 hours...
Date: 8/27/2003 10:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 53008    i didnt start school yet heh heh. you are porbably sleeping that much because you only sleep 6 hours a night and then you are exhausted when u get home from school. try getting more sleep at night.
Date: 8/27/2003 10:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    you might be coming down with something and your body is just craving extra sleep to help you get over it. i wouldnt worry too much
Date: 8/27/2003 11:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 13897    actually, you are probably not getting the right kind of sleep. you need way more than 6 hours every night. that doesn't allow you to go fully into sleep so your body can rest. change your schedule around. allow yourself at lest 8 hours a night to sleep (8 hours consecutively, that is).. also, you'll be able to heal better when you get the right kind of sleep.
Date: 8/27/2003 11:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 35720    I don't know if it's normal, I just wanted to add that my mom sleeps constantly.. she works nights so she usually sleeps all day.. but even when she doesn't work, the only difference is she sleeps all day AND all night.
