PG is mostly family safe but a curse word here or there. PG-13 has no nudity but may have sexual stuff in it and violence. R has nudity in it and violence, and maybe a movie is really scary like alot of gore... lol just guessing |

Sensuality, nudity, violence, swearing, gore, different levels of each suffer from higher or lower ratings. For example, distatsteful would be something like Christina's rhythmic writhing in her Dirrty video, if there were an hour and a half of that it would probably be rated NC-17 and not shown in theaters but that's beside the case. It had a lot of innuendos and would probably have to struggle a lot to get a PG-13 rating. PG-13 would have mild offensive language, maybe mild - moderate violence, and possibly kissing. PG would maybe slip a swear word hear or there and G would have Bambi picking flowers while shooting rainbows out of his face. =-bootz-= |
