Last month (or the beginning of this month, i forget) my boyfriend took me to have dinner at his dad's girlfriend's house. She has three huge dogs, 2 Russian Wolf hounds and 1 st. bernard. the St. Bernard adopted us right away, but I loved the Russian Wolfhounds, especially the shy one, Vassa, who never comes up to anyone, ever (at least not for a long time) but came up to me within the first 15 minutes. It turns out his dad's girlfriend and I have the same interests when it comes to history and I said I'd always wanted to wear a flapper dress and she got all excited (she was also VERY tipsy)and told me sh had one and brought it down and told me to try it on. Now, this dress was from the generation of real women look like boys and I'm from the generation of real women have curves, so it took about 10 minutes to get the dress on and it got stuck on my shoulder blades but i finally got it on...except i have a broad back and couldn't get it zippered, but I came out and they took my picture like 20 times, and they had me hold the russian wolfhounds so it would look more twenties (she lives in an area where a lot of gangsters from Chicago lived) except the st bernard got overprotective and attacked Vassa...and then it took me another 10-15 mintues to get out of the dress...some of the tassels came off and i hid them all over, like in my pockets and my shoes, lol. Then she let me hold a 4,000 year old piece of pre-colombian jade from a head dress and she showed me a knife from the medieval ages that was taken out of the Thames river...it was really cool.
