Let's say you like two guys/girls at once....what do you do?

(This is kind of a spin-off discussion of my own life right now, but at the moment it's not this bad lol...)

Okay, say you like 2 guys (or girls) at the same time. They're both cute, smart, nice, funny etc. and you know that they both like you.

You've been on a (meaning 1) really good date with one of them (and they agree with you that it was a good date) about a month ago and really like this person, but haven't been on a date with them since. This person also sits with you at lunchtimes, says hi in the hallways, during study hall (where we don;t have classes together) he/she is sitting there waiting for you, etc. and you get along really well together, but you don't have any classes with this person.

The other person you haven't gone out with at all, but you've really clicked from the moment you met them and he/she talks to you in class (you have a couple classes together) and says hi in the hallways, etc. And whenever that person sees you he/she finds sdomething to talk about and really remembers your conversations and has shown that he/she likes you.

And you like them both equally.

What would you do?

By dragging them both along, Your bound to get your self in a mess you don't want to be in. If you don't know which you would rather be with, continue just to be friends with each until thing become more clear. You don't want to hurt anyone.
Date: 9/3/2003 3:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 45630    You go for the one with the best legs.lol. No you just have to follow your heart. Go for the one that would help you with your own lifestyle and the one you think understands you the best. That's all of the advice I can give you!
Date: 9/3/2003 3:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    If you don't have an exclusive relationship with either one then you are free to date them both. The purpose of dating is to discover if you really like someone. Later you can become exclusive.

Date: 9/3/2003 3:37:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    SS - I definitely do NOT want to hurt either of them. I'm having trouble making up my mind as to which one I like better! I really seriously do like them the same, but I'm sticking with the guy I went out with for now just in case the other turns out to be more of a friend since I haven't known him as long.
Date: 9/3/2003 3:39:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    WB - Wouldn't it hurt their feelings if I go out with them both of them sort of off and on though?
Date: 9/3/2003 3:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 53548    that is a very hard situation that happend to me i chose the one i have been out with b4 tho and it worked out fine
Date: 9/3/2003 3:40:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    Thank you for the advice Penny Royal! So far that's what I think I'm going to do, but I don't think I'll rule out the other guy completely though.
Date: 9/3/2003 3:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 8278    i was in almost the same situation not too long ago. honestly, it took me forever to decide. i had feelings for both of them...but one had hurt me real bad in the past. i took some time, thought it over and followed my heart. i took the one back that hurt me in the past, and so far, i feel like it was the right choice to make. i do love him, and i have fun when i am with him and he makes me laugh. but, to be honest, it was the hardest decision i ever had to make in my life.
Date: 9/3/2003 3:47:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    I hate making desions1 Especially between 2 cute guys! I'm just going to give it time I guess and see which one comes through. :-D I hope all goes well with you and your guy!
Date: 9/3/2003 3:53:00 PM  From Authorid: 42568    The first guy is Ben, right? If the second guy hasn't asked you out, what's the problem then? I know you wouldn't ask him out 'cause you're two shy. You're young though Christina... I say date them both! You'll waste too much time with just one person, LOL. Speaking of dates... I've got to go get ready for one. Talk to ya later!
Date: 9/3/2003 4:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    Well, that depends on what has been said. You've only been out w/ one of them once. Doesn't seem like your "dating". Your call.
Date: 9/3/2003 4:12:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    BETHANN! *hugs* Lol, yes yes, the first guy is Ben (How'd you guess?). Good luck on your date! Okay, considering you and WildBob are saying the same thing about the whole dating thing, I think I'll go with that in case one of them asks me out again (even though Ben said that he does want to go out with me again he's just really busy I guess). It isn't highly probable that Tom (the other cute guy lol) will ask me out...yet. I don't think so anyway. But if he does I'll go with my gut feeling at the time. Thanks for the advice!
Date: 9/3/2003 4:15:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    WildBob (and anyone else who can help me with this)- since you're more experienced than me with dating...how do you know when it's considered that you actually are dating? And not just kinda dating...how many dates does it take? Or...well..yeah. I'm very inexperienced with the whole thing and I've always wondered this.
Date: 9/3/2003 4:28:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    You need to have these discussions with the person you're dating. If you can't talk about things like that, then you're not dating.
Date: 9/3/2003 4:48:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    Okay, I see. Lol, thank you Wild Bob!
Date: 9/3/2003 5:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 44960    Flip a coin!!
Date: 9/3/2003 5:14:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    LOL! That's great advice! lol! "Oh yeah, I decided not to go out with you ___ because you were tails and the coin landed on heads. Sorry!"
Date: 9/3/2003 6:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 58268    i got the same prob, lol....what they said...and i sugest making a list of good and bad things about each one...good=+1 bad=-1..whoever has the most points...go with that one....lol...it works...
Date: 9/3/2003 6:15:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 25756    Oooh..that's a good idea! Thanks ZetaPsi!
