Might have just been easier if the man just said what he was thinking and not tried to metaphor it. It probably would have saved him a lot of confusion..LOL |

I agree AZ, sounds like a little back-peddling. Still he is an awesome actor, my favorite is either Scissorhands or Blow. |

Well that explains it. He said 'young puppy' not 'dumb puppy'. |

I don't care what he says or does, he's a genius and what he thinks or does is his business it doens't change the way I view him as an actor. Hey there is a new movie with him in it what's it called? I saw the previews but I forgot the name...it looks good! Peace |

It comes as NO surprise that the media would twist someone's words to suit their purpose. |

I second what LadyLuck said. |

I have never trusted the media since they quoted me as saying that I used my dog for hunting. My dog is a dachshund. I still laugh when I think about how absurd that would be. |

I'm taking his apology at face value. It's a real apology, not one of those non-apology apologies. Plus he's cute which helps. |

Thank goodness this was a mix up . He is my second fave actor and I was starting to second guess him . I am glad the real truth came out . The media has a bad habit of twisting stories , Grrrrrr ! Razzy aka |

Thank you for your clearification of this event. It is sad that we so many times get an untrue account of what 'really' happened. I would much rather have the whole truth, then make my own opinions of the account. Thanks again. |

even if he'd meant what was said in the first place i'd still respect his opinion. if people hav different opinions than me it doesnt matter to me greatly. if they are good at what they do is good enough for me. if they dont agree with things i agree with i dont think bad thoughts of them. it is just their opinion. i agreed with him but ifsomeone else was to say otherwise i would never think badly of them or think they were wrong for thinking what they think. even if i do think the opposite. I respect people's opinions and don't think they deserved to be punished for thinking certain things. |

I'm glad that the "Dixie Chicks treatment" wasn't afforded to Johnny. Like it or not, agree or not, he still has the right to speak his mind. Peace! |

Its interesting to see how many opinions have so quickely altered from the last post I saw about this, from shouts of him being un-american and the like to what we see here. Doesn't this just prove how quickly snap judgements can be made when viewing the media? |

The media is sick and loves to kick a hero down. Like what famous actor doesn't get torn in half by the paparazzi or media maniacs?! Depp is a fantastic actor and cute too! He must grow tired of having all his words twisted and analized. I do wonder about that GQ article and the marijuana statement he made about his children. I rather hope he did not mean it as it was written. Maybe he,s done too much drugs in his younger years. |
