lol I guess *y* is okay in my book...another 1 that bugs me (and thanks to my sis I'm guilty of usuing occasionally) is "ne1 or nething". Most of these just look like bad spelling and only save you a letter or 2 lol.  |

I don't like internet slang at all. I will use it occassionaly, but for the most part, I don't use it at all. Is "ok" really that hard? Is "hehe" harder than "LOL"? It just really drives me batty. I also hate people that can't type, and always misspell words so they look like "ojk" and "U guyas, don/t likre mwe". I always to tell them to slow down because reading their text hurts my eyes when I am reading. <RegretfulHalo>  |

I absolutely abhor internet slang, especially "2" (for to or too), "da", "n", "sum", "luv", "u", "idk", "oic", etc. It's ANNOYING.. can't people SPELL OUT these simple words? I use "OMG", "LOL", "JK", and "BRB", but never the particularly annoyings.   |

I sometimes use enuf for enough...I shorten all words ending in ing but I do that in real life too...I dont know some of them I dont get and then I feel stupid asking what they mean like CBOL and a few otehrs I cant think of right now....anyhow some of them are really stupid  |

I generally try to use proper English when on the internet. Only when in heated, real-time chat do I begin to use massive amounts of internet-speak. Something like this: "OMG u SOB! WTH r u doin?" But never will I be that bad here, you have my word.  |
