Hey Everyone, I went to this concert last night for my brother's friend(Michael Kumer) who was killed in April...anyways this concert was held at "Skrappy's" (this little hole in the wall in downtown Tucson) Sooooo, there was this band there called Distorted. They played at Michaels Memorial. THEY ROCK!! The first 3 bands had absolutltly no audiance, besides the people TRYING to mosh pit, but it never lasted. So these three bands play, boering...then Disorted comes on and everyone comes in from outside, crowded around the stage, starts screaming and jumping and all that. It was amazing!! The lead singer,Brandon, said this was a dream come true for him. He said "I've always wanted to do this. So everyone can you please get together in a group right in the midle here." Then he ran and jumped and everyone helpd him up. It ROCKED!!!
The part I loved most(my most memorable part) was when Brandon said "Well guys, there is a special guest with us tonight. He is not here physically, but we know he's here spiritually. Michael Kumer." **Everyone started chanting "Kumer Kumer Kumer..."** I would like to dedicate this next song to him. It's called 'Michael's Morning'" Everyone got really quiet and came together into a huge group and rocked back and fourth, holding everyone around them close. Some were crying (me included) and some were hanging their heads in memory. I was standing next to my best friend;leah, Sara's (michaels sister) best friend(Savana) and sara was on the other side of Savana. The behind me was Skylar and his gf. We all hugged each other close and rocked back in fourth crying and remembering Michael. Sara looked like she was going to fall to her knees and sit there and cry. She was devistated. I felt so bad. So leah, Savana and I hugged her close to us and helped her out. After "Michaels Moring" was over, everyone clapped and some yelled out "WE LOVE YOU KUMER!" it was the most memorable moment I've had and I loved being there with everyone who loves him and misses him. I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life and I will always keep it close in my heart. To love and cherish allways.
