i understand where you are comeing from, but what would be the problem with her going, i mean have her take a friend too or something, and then you just stay with your friend...atleast you'll get to go!  |

well i think with it being an area where you have not been... she is WORRIED about you... your YOUNG... allow her to come along but she won't be on your back following you around.. just ask her to keep a bit of distance... if you don't fight with these kinda things she will trust you more... if she sees your perfectly fine... she will maybe let you go next time on your own  |

the thing is not that she has to come its more along the lines of the way she dresses would make her look COMPLETLY out of place and usually the people there are mostly like under 18 so she would really stick out and yes i am embarrissed to be with my mom in these type of situations i like being an independent person i dont really even wanna bring a friend but yea its the only way i could think for her to maybe let me go alone but obviously i diddnt get to go tonight and i am soooo mad! this is the one thing ive been looking forward to and now the plans were crushed :( i had to go to my little brothers football game wich was REALLY boring!! ahhhhh i cant wait till january when i get my lisence!
