PSALM 37 AS A CLEANSING RITUAL The 37th Psalm is used for all types of uncrossing, unjinxing, unhexing, and generally doing away with the work or "tricks" that others have placed upon one. Here is a very simple spell using this Psalm in the hoodoo tradition: Two small white offertory candles are lit. The practitioner stands between them, and bathes with clear rain water, spring water, or tap water to which tears have been added while reciting the Psalm. If you customarily burn incense while reciting Psalms, it should be 7-11 Holy Type, or Blessing, or Frankincense Resin. Here is the Psalm, for your convenience: ***** Psalm 37 1: Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2: For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3: Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5: Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6: And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7: Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8: Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9: For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10: For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11: But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12: The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13: The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. 14: The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15: Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 16: A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 17: For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. 18: The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19: They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20: But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21: The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. 22: For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. 23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24: Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25: I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26: He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. 27: Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. 28: For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 29: The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. 30: The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31: The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32: The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. 33: The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34: Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 35: I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36: Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37: Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38: But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39: But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40: And the LORD shall help them and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. ***** For more about the use of Psalms in hoodoo, see the Secrets of the Psalms web page at http://www.luckymojo.com/secretspsalms.html
Toilet Paper Banishing Spell I saw this one in The Salem Witches' Book of Love Spells by Lilith McLelland and I knew that I had to put it into my website. I think if you've really got a problem with a significant other, here's a good one. It's a very simple spell and it takes less than half a minute. You go to the bathroom. You take a piece of toilet paper and you write the name of the person your breaking up with nine times. When the time comes use the toilet paper. Finally when you flush, you say the following: "We're through jerk!
CURSING PROPERTY there are many common ingredients that can be used to curse a general area (premises, property, etc.). one item that is common is the use of what is sometimes (especially outside the hoodoo community) referred to as a "Witches' Bottle." here is what catherine yronwode has already written in reflection of what sources like Harry M. Hyatt and others have described of these "bottles" (which can also be cans, boxes, or any number of other types of containers): -------------------------------------- In the African-American hoodoo or conjure tradition, bottles filled with sharp objects such as pins, needles, or nails are [...] used in spells of malevolence and destruction. According to the oral histories collected by Harry M. Hyatt from 1,600 African-American informants in the South during the 1930s, these bottle spells are used to harm others or cause marital spats and break-ups. I don't have time now to transcribe a batch of Hyatt's informant's words verbatim, but here is a rough guideline to what he was told. The complete texts can be found in his 5-volime book "Hoodoo - Conjuration - Witchcraft - Rootwork" (Detailed information about this rare, out-of-print book is archived at http://www.luckymojo.com/hyatt.html ): Typical ingredients for a harmful bottle spell: * 9 pins * 9 needles * 9 coffin nails (or other rusty nails) plus one or more of the following subsidiary ingredients: * goofer dust and/or graveyard dirt (for recipes, see http://www.luckymojo.com/gooferdust.html ) * hot foot powder (for recipes, see http://www.luckymojo.com/hotfoot.html ) * assorted "evil" roots or herbs (e.g. red pepper, black mustard seeds) * assorted "evil" minerals (e.g. sulphur, blue vitriol) * whiskey plus one or more of the following items to personalize the spell: * urine of victim (called "chamber lye" in old accounts) * hair of victim * menstrual blood of [female] victim (from stolen panties or sanitary pad) * feces of victim * name of victim written on a piece of paper additionally, to cause a break-up in a target couple: * hair from a black cat and hair from a black dog, mingled together (so they'll "fight like cats and dogs") Methods of deployment: * bury the bottle where the victim will walk over it (foot track magic) * conceal the bottle in the victim's chimney-corner * wall the bottle up in the victim's house or basement * bury the bottle at the base of the chimney outside victim's house * poke a tiny hole in the bottle cap, throw into running water (e.g. tidal bay) so that as it sinks, victim's vitality will ebb * if feces used, fill bottle tight and wedge it into a hole in a tree where it cannot ever be found; (victim will experience stoppage of the bowels) * if urine used, fill bottle full and wedge it into a hole in a tree where it cannot ever be found; (victim will experience stoppage of the bladder or kideny disease) CURSE OF REVENGE This curse is to be laid upon the victim while burning an image of the victim (wax sigil, photograph, drawing, anything) in the flame of a consecrated black candle Speak aloud the following: There has been unfairness done to me I summon the elements I envoke them I conjure them to do my bidding The four watchtowers shall lay their eyes and minds there shall be fear and guilt and bad blood there shall be submission and no pity I point the threefold law against thee against thee it shall be pointed threefold, a hundred fold, is the cost for my anger and pain Thou shalt be blinded by the fear blinded by the pain blinded by me binded by me Cursed by me So mote it be! SIMPLE REVENGE CHANT AGINST CHEATERS This is a simple chant that seems to work well against those who cheat at games or on tests in school, and is easily changed to fit your situation. I cast darkness to chase you, [cheater at games]* So that you will fall when others would stand. *[] can either describe the person or name them. This is mild and will go away when you draw it back and won't have any significant backfire. INGREDIOENTS FOR REVENGE POWDERS, OILS, and SPELL-CRAFT Revenge is an interesting sort of spell. It is different than cursing, because it is justified, and different than reversing, because you are not just sending back the bad stuff, you are adding a quotient of punitive magic. In my experience, working these spells is a bit more complex than putting down "a well-placed sprinkle" of powder. As far as formulas go, i think that anything made with red pepper, black pepper, salt, sulphur, and/or graveyard dirt is on the right track. Optional, but quite amazing in their effects, are asafoetida powder, vandal root, black dog hair, and rusty nails.
