When I was a teenager I used to have fainting spells quite often. One time I actually fainted right behind a police car..Face down in the dirt at that..LOL..I eventually found out that it had alot to do with my Monthly cycle. Your body goes through some wacky stuff at that time of the month and this is one of the things that can happen. Have you noticed it happening at any specific time?? I would also make a doctor's appointment to have it checked out. You may have low blood or something. |

OMG Lauren I am the SAME EXACT WAY...little stupid things set it off...I have fainted in school twice. I have no clue what causes it. Back in February, I fainted in my 8th grade science class and had a mild seisure and I had all sorts of blood, heart, and neurological tests done but they found nothing. |

I think you should go to the Doc. to make sure it is nothing serious anyways. |

Do you get any odd feelings to go with it? Something like a deja vu sensation or anything like that? Most likely it could be low iron..but let me know about the feelings. |

All of these answers are probably right. You get low on iron during you monthly cylce. Iron is what helps create red blood cells that carry oxygen to your brain. This is probably what it is but I would tell your parents and get a doctor's opinion. |

Get checked for hypoglamcia. And yes, with this blood sugar disease, you feel worse at that time of the month. |

I've fainted many times in my life. I'm very sensitive to things I see, such as operations or movies with a lot of gore and carnage. I can't watch that stuff, I actually get queezy. It could be linked to anxiety in some way, since some of the symptoms are similar. I have that too, unfortunately. All I know, is the next time something grosses you out, try not to continue watching it. If you're stuck in class and feel ill, drop your head down toward your knees while seated. This may help. Don't stand up to quickly either, or you'll probably faint. I'm so much of a fainter, that everytime I get my blood drawn, I warn them, "I'm a fainter" before they start! Good luck. |
