OKay you have many types of vegetarians. Some don't eat any product that comes from an animal or any animal product. Others don't eat meat. I feel that to be a true vegetarian you shouldn't eat anything from an animal! ![]() |

yes because the milk didnt kill the cow and the eggs were taken before it was alive (kinda hard to justify but eh). Vegans are the ones who dont eat animal products...vegetarians dont eat the meat products or things that it had to kill the animal for. ![]() |

the vegetarians that i know don't do either and have to buy special breads and stuff to avoid eggs and milk. it depends however on how much a vegetarian you want to go - if you want to go all the way and be anti animal product then you would but if you're only against the slaughtering of the animals then you probably wouldn't. =-bootz-= ![]() |

I have another question like that. Do vegitarians eat animal crackers?! LOL! Well, see, my idea on that, is every vegitarian has their own opinion. Some eat eggs and milk, so don't. It all really depends on what they want I guess. ![]() |

Vegens don't eat any meat products at all or use any products that do animal testing or use animals oils and extracts. True Vegetarians don't eat meats at all, my sister used to be one and she wouldn't drink milk or eat eggs. ![]() |

The vegetarian you are describing is a ovo-lacto vegetarian. They are not vegan, which is totally against all animal products but they are still vegetarian. ![]() |

Well, let's also understand that vegetarianism and veganism aren't always a choice. Some people have medical conditions which keep them from being able to eat meat and animal by-products. It can be quite frustrating for these people because restaraunts and grocery stores advertise a lot of products as being "vegetarian" without realizing that there are 4 different categories a vegetarian can fall into: Vegan, Ovo-lacto, Lacto and Ovo. Quizno's and Subway BOTH offer vegetarian subs, then put cheese, mayonnaise or dressing on them. Restaraunts will offer salads to vegetarians, then put eggs, cheese and dressing on them. You'd think a bean burrito would be safe, but those beans may be cooked in lard. My girlfriend has this problem and you can imagine how happy she is after eating a tortilla filled with beans and becoming violently ill because of the lard. :/ Not exactly the preferable way to end a date, ya know? lol ~Nytwolf~ ![]() |

lol I musta not made clear I was a veggie :p but yeah to add on to nytwolf's comment because some of you have it confused. Morningstar Farms (a vegetarian brand that makes fake meat products) puts eggs and cheese and what not in their foods (like they'll make chicken pot pies and supreme pizzas for instance...) Boca on the other hand (a vegan fake meat maker) doesnt use eggs or cheese (well the cheese on their pizza but they obviously let you know it lol...come to think of it maybe its fake cheese...hmmm...) Well anyways lemme break it down for ya (of course personal prefrence also plays a part): Level 1 vegetarian: eats chicken and fish, no red meat. Eats animal products (like eggs and cheese and milk.) Level 2 Vegetarian: Eats no meat what so ever, still eats the animal products (eggs, milk, cheese what not.) Vegan: Doesn't eat any animal products or meat. ![]() |

I'm not sure Snow but I can tell you that of the 200 something vegians and vegitarians that go to Camp Sacramento every fall every single one of them requests bacon in the morning. ~~ ![]() |
