I sat on my living room floor writing this. Realizing all I have written about is the bad part of my past.
Like, when I was born, my sister was always so protective over me. She tried so much to give me the childhood I would never have. She told me her hopes, fears, which didn't mean much then, but I would give anything to have those moments again. The way my sister would slap my mom after she had smacked me when I was young....My sister doesn't even care anymore....Tells me to grow up.
My father and I went to the movies a lot. We went to games, and even just the park. I had so much fun with him. I always go to be with him. He was the closest one to me, well, was. I could always go to him with problems....Well....could....
My mom....Well. I only have a couple good memories of her. One was she actually colored with me, and the others were family events.
My favourite memory was the happiest. We all went to the beach, and stayed there for six hours. My parents did some things on the beach, while my sister and I swam. We came home so tired, but so happy.
There are so many things I miss. Going to the beach, going to Nova Scotia to see my grandmother, just everything. I miss having a family....
People always ask me what is the best thing in life. I can only answer it by saying this. "Life....The best thing about life, is life. Living, having a family, and friends. A lot of people barely have that." That is how I look at it, and I know I'm wrong. I'm always wrong.
I don't think anyone ever notices how much one thing can have an affect on you. I was torn.
"Samara! GET IN HERE!" I got up and walked to the kitchen. "HELP ME CLEAN THE DISHES! JAMES' KIDS WON'T HELP!"
"Well, James never does anything! All he does is sit around and relaxes!"
"Don't even start about him!" When I finished, I went on the computer, to find an escape from this hell.....
