It never seemed to cross your mind, But I didn't want to complain, I'm just sorry that the wounds you have, Won't ever fade away. Every time you hurt someone, You'd cry yourself to sleep, Not knowing why you act this way, Or why it is you keep... On hurting those you love, Bringing more pain on yourself, When you find out you broke their heart, You want to go to hell. You're singing to the fairies, It's your best way to escape, From the things that you would die for, If they'd stop making you weep. You're singing to the fairies, Praying for escape, To a world where there's tranquility, And no such thing as hate.
