Well considering that America is stubborn in its ways. In Australia we use the metric system. WE call Football soccer, but then again it was originally called football so who are we to change it.lol. And we spell Jail, Gaol. Go figure. You guys change some things, and so do we! |

Well, simplicity is nice since it brings less confusion but then again... things would be a bit more boring too. Of course, "color" you mentioned is "colour" in Canada, due to it's relation to French. As for European football being called soccer here... I'd say football makes more sense, since your kicking the ball with your foot and not socking it with your fist. Oh well, I get what your saying here and agree that the English language in general, is confusing in many ways. :) |

What fun would it be if everything were exactly alike? In this case it is individuality of countries that makes the world an interesting place. Besides, if everything were alike we would be asking the question "why does every body have to have the same things?" |

The metric system still confuzzles me, even though I'm sure it's easier. |
