I don't know what to say today..
My heart seems to have taken a different track than my mind
I'm tangled in a knot of my own making, how can I escape when
My hands are tied
Words as plain as the confusion on my face, they are all I have
Simply a wondering upon how I will pull through
This time shall be different I vowed to myself, when a replay began
And it took me through the lines and motions
Leaving me thinking how it could happen this way, so many times
Again and again, the wall is just as unyielding as it was before
My head bangs just as well against it as it did the first time I
ventured to do such a thing, and
Found myself caught in a perpetual loop
Can I grasp a new meaning and hold onto it before it is too late
Or will it float in front of my eyes and drift there
While my slow, impossibly insensitive
Fingers reach clumsily up
A futile move
And I am back
Head banging against the wall
