ok, i am in algebra II and i absolutly cannot do word problems... so, i need help with 3 problems, please help me out.... thank you!
- three sides of an equalateral triangle are increased by 20cm, 30cm, and 40cm, respectivly. the perimeter of the resulting triangle is between twice and three times the perimeter of the original triangle. what can you conclue about the length of a side of of the original triangle?
- during the first 20miles of a 50 mile bike race, roger's average speed was 16mi/hour. what must be his average speed be during the remainder of the race if he is to finish the race in less that 2.5 hours?
- the length of a rectangular sheep of paper was twice its width. after 1cm was trimmed from each edge or the sheet, the perimeter was at most 1 meter. find the largest possible dimensions of the trimmed sheet.
please help me, just take a wild stab... cuz i absolutly cannot do these, and they are even numbers so they arent in the back of the book... please?
