Yes! (Rant about my work-life)

I put in an application on Easter Day, via the internet. I don't get hired until June. There's debt for back-rent. The store has a really strict dresscode, and they don't supply the clothes or money to match it. I have to buy tons of new clothes to match their dresscode, before I even start on the job. That's about $150 more debt just to get hired. When I was hired, I was promised 30-35 hours a week. The highest I had gotten was 18; the average, 14. In the middle of July, Lia and I take two weeks off to go visit some of her family down in Florida. When we get back, the first thing we do is get our hours for the upcoming week. Lia gets the average of 14 hours. I get zero! Zero hours! That's more debt from not being able to pay rent. The next week, while Lia's still getting normal hours, I get five. I can't pay rent on five hours of work a week. More debt. The third week back, I get eight hours. More debt once again. The next week I have twelve hours -- just enough to pay rent -- but when I show up, they tell me I don't work in my department anymore. I was hired for "grocery" (stocking shelves). For reasons they wouldn't give me, I was switched to "Courtesy Clerk" (bagging, cleaning). I was switched with no warning whatsoever. Things pick up in my new position. I get anywhere from 18-24 hours a week. Two weeks ago, the Store Manager tells me the reason I was moved. He very rudely told me that I didn't know the store well enough (I was only on the job a month and I never got a store tour; they just expected me to know where everything goes) and that I was "the worst worker he hired". Every week, I hand over my entire paycheck, in attempt to bring me debt down. Well, tomorrow's pay day; and I'll finally be out of debt! I only owe around $70 more. As of tomorrow, I'll be debt-free! Also, I made a deal that would allow me to get more hours. Instead of bagging, I clean. I clean the bathrooms, the breakroom, the actual store; I'm more of a janitor that a "Courtesy Clerk". I only bag when the store is really busy. Well, I get next week's schedule today and it has me down for 30 hours! Not only will I be out of debt, I'll finally be getting the hours I was promised in the first place, too! 'Bout time they do something right.
