look at a bunch and use whatever feels right to you, it doesn't even have to be something really complicated, just breathe in for 5-7 counts (pick a number) then out for whatever count in for ur number, out, repeat and just concentrate and go wherever your mind takes you, if you concentrate on your breathing you should be able to empty your thoughts pretty well, but DO NOT get discouraged if you can't, there are only a few times when i cand do it, and i haven't meditated in a while, and i need to start since i've got a dude reading my mind, not used to that, i used to have a slight sheild type thing up around a good few of my thoughts, but i haven't done that since last year i think, *shrugs* just do whatever feels right (that breathing is what my chorus teacher calls "yoga breathing"  |
