homemade christmas gifts...

Hello everyone,

I want to make homemade christmas gifts this year because I don't have much money to spend on gifts. I was wondering if anyone had ideas that I could use? Also I wanted to take a jar and fill it with the ingredients for cookies (well the dry ingredients) and then close it, add the recipe and then give that as a gift. That's all I know what to do, does anyone know if there's anything specific that I have to do for that specific gift. Thank you very much!!

Date: 10/15/2003 4:02:00 PM  From Authorid: 49765    here is an idea. Make up a coupon booklet (only for those you are close to) One coupon is reserved for a hug. One is reserved for doing dishes on a certain day. on and on. So, if you get along with our sister, you can give her a coupon book and when she comes over or calls you she can tell you which coupon she is wanting to use and you can set up a time. Like if she wanted to use the dishes one, then you can plan a day in which you can go to her house and for that day do her dishes. Just a thought.

Date: 10/16/2003 9:49:00 AM  From Authorid: 49765    here is another idea. I found out what people liked then I leafed through a magazine and found the picture of the objects. Then I bought a some strips of magnets (plain - about 2 dollars). I took the pictures and glued or fastened them to a regular sheet of paper (to make them sturdy) then I glued them to the magnets.

Sometimes they have shapes of hearts and stuff.
