Look these up for yourself. I find it very interesting how much modern science supports Mexicayotl. (Ometeotl for Nahuas, Hunab-Ku for the Maya, Pijetao for Zapotecs, and "Lord of All" in the Mixtec codices)
And also interesting is how modern science is so threatening to many Christians' view of the world.
**While our Maya/Mexica were making state-sponsored breakthroughs in astronomy that supported their religious doctrine, European-Christians were persecuting Galileo for telling them astronomical breakthroughs that contradicted Christian doctrine.**

We Are Made Up of Stars
MEXICAYOTL: Our ancestors studied the stars and gave them intense signifcance. They (Maya/Mexica/etc) said that the celestial bodies were divine transmitters of our life and fate. The Creator of the Universe, Planets, and Stars is none other than Ometeotl.
MODERN SCIENCE: Modern scientists study the stars and give them intense significance. They say that the stars and celestial bodies are the original containers of elements and chemical-formations that were the transmitters of the building blocks that compose of bodies and our genetic capabilities. The Cause of the Universe, Planets, and Stars is the Big Bang
Dualities in Modern Science
- MODERN SCIENCE: Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only changed in form. (The Laws of Thermodynaics).
MEXICAYOTL: Ometeotl is the Self-Created Creator, manifested in the Matter-Spirit of the Universe)
- MODERN SCIENCE: The fabric of the universe is composed of Space-Time (e.g. wormholes and blackholes and the slowdown of aging in outer space compared to earth).
MEXICAYOTL: Time and Space were intertwined for the Maya and the Mexica. ("Aztec Thought and Culture" and "Time and Reality in the Thought of the Maya" ny Miguel Leon-Portilla)
- MODERN SCIENCE: Every action has a reaction. (Newton's laws)
MEXICAYOTL: The Universe/Ometeotl is composed of Dual oppsoites existing in tension and harmony.
- MODERN SCIENCE: Matter is really just energy made into a "concrete" form. (The Laws of Thermodynamics)
MEXICAYOTL: Matter is really just Spirit made into a "concrete" form.
- MODERN SCIENCE: Outer space is composed of Matter and Anti-Matter ("Dark Matter") (recent scientific discoveries)
MEXICAYOTL: The Universe is composed of Dualities.
- MODERN SCIENCE: Everything is in a stage of entropy; anything that is Alive now is simultaneously headed towards Death)
MEXICAYOTL: There is no Life without Death, Ometeotl is both. Life requires Death.)

MEXICAYOTL: The Universe is Ometeotl. And we are made out of Ometeotl.
- MODERN SCIENCE: The Universe as we know it was created out of a "Big Bang", and it will be devoured by the Black Holes that were created out that Creation event.
MEXICAYOTL: Ometeotl is the Creator of Life and the Creator of Death. Ometeotl is the Self-Created Creator, and the Self-Destroying Destroyer.
- MODERN SCIENCE: The Big Bang was a cosmic explosion of energy into material form.
MEXICAYOTL: The Universe was the entrance of Spirit into Material form.
- MODERN SCIENCE: Every bit of energy you are using (including the calorie-energy to read this sentence was once a part of the Sun. The Sun is what enables the Earth to maintain life. Every amount of warmth in your body was once in the Sun. Even coal is stored sun-energy.
MEXICAYOTL: Tonatiuh/ the Sun is what makes life possible in Cem-Amanuac. Tonatiuh is what we give thanks to for sustaining us on Mother Earth/Tlaticpac.
- MODERN SCIENCE: The Big Bang was the unfolding of all matter/energy into the Universe as we know it. The Universe is constantly evolving and changing into new forms and energies.
MEXICAYOTL: Ometeotl is the unfolding of all matter/energy into the Universe as we know it. Ometeotl is constantly manifesting and changing into new forms and energies.
- MODERN SCIENCE: We need to consume the products of the earth in order to live. Then we will decompose back into the elements of the earth and atmosphere.
MEXICAYOTL: We eat the Earth in Life. Then the Earth eats us in Death.
