In Memory of Tam Ripley: 2-24-71 to 10-24-03   Author:  48812  Category:(USM Events) Created:(10/24/2003 9:09:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (392 times) Wasn't sure where this should be put, but i just wanted to make a, well, memorial post for my sister... My sister Tam, died this morning because of cardiac arrest. She was only 32. She was married to my brother Mark for about 11 years, but they never had any kids. I remember a post i put on here a while ago, from an email sent to me. "When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Make sure that when you die, everyone around you is crying and you are the one that is smiling." She was like this...and apparently, from what the coroner said, she died instantly; there was no pain. She was a well-loved person in the family, always knowing the right thing to say, being honest (even if we didn't want the truth), funny, and generally a good-hearted person. It's amazing how it's one thing to hear someone tell you such a thing....But something entirely different to put it in writing, make funeral arrangements, and all that other stuff....it's amazing how much it hurts, too. I know i'm not all that, well, well-known on this site, but still...if you could send some good thoughts and prayers to the family...it would be appreciated...
