Sounds like it.. Although I've never heard of a "hag attack".. Will that name for it atleast.. But sounds like it could be a spirit.. If you ever don't like something just tell them to go away or to stop it. I can talk to spirits. But if their unkown to me I just tell them to stop it or go away. Espcially when they start following me around the house, that get's annoying.

I never had that, but every now and again I have what I call spiritual visions. I am not awake and not asleep, if you can understand. But I feel someone sitting down on the bed and holding my hand. It's always a friendly encounter and I like to think its my mother who died when I was very young. If feels like her anyway... very motherly.  |

for 60922, hag attack" is an Incubus or Sucubus= sleep paralysis. Sounds like this spirit came as a "muse", however its agenda is still the same as a Incubus- a spirit responsible for "old hag" attacks, or in modern terms, - sleep paralysis.  |

Incidentally, my name is derived from "Knightmare" who was one of the 1st internet hackers, nothing to do with the actual event. But having been a victim myself, i have done some research on it. To answer your question about a Incubus, or Sucubus's agenda, it is basically the same as any evil spirit's. |

Thanks for all the info Knightmare. I have studied the succubus and incubus thing after my experience with a chest crushing suffocation sleep paralysis. It happened about seven years ago and hasn't repeated since. Now all of the sudden, I have this other gentler experience and when you mentioned muse, I thought that was interesting, as I had just started a new huge writing project. Hmmm.... Scall |

ok Scall, without having looked at your profile, i for some reason thought you might be male, but it shows the name Anna-1, so you are female? Sorry for the confusion, but either way the content i have replied with applies universally. From time to time i still have an occurence, usually i am just restrained, without the weight upon the chest. There is a good reason for that. Once when i was much younger i was choked by a spirit, since then it scarred my concious mind so much that i will Not sleep on my back. Other things can occur from the same enity, such as a growl, a whisper, or even a loud shout in your ear. I participated in a study thru a University in Canada on this phenomena, they took a more scientific view/approach--- they assumed the victim subconciously projected such events, etc..
I can tell you that one of the factors that made me really believe in God, and that Jesus is Lord, is--- the only way i could stop an attack is call upon the name of Jesus.. Its been awhile since i have had an attack, i can almost sense when one will occur. Like i said, i have found only 1 solution to stop an attack. |

I can already see the snare being laid, do not take offense ok, but a gentler approach so that you give acceptance/freewill, is what "it"wants. There are boundaries & rules in the spirit world, 1 which is permission. A spirit studies it's victim, much like a predator does their prey. Knightmare: Funny you mention the growling thing. There was one time where it wasn't an attack but more of an intimidation. I had just moved into a new rental house and I didn't have a bed yet so I was sleeping on the floor. It didn't touch me but I sensed a heavy intense energy pressing in on me from the side and growling like a ferocious dog. It freaked me out. I'm not a Christian (but was raised that way from birth and have been baptized). I still believe in Jesus, and that he was the best example of how to be human we have ever had, even if I don't follow the hypocrites who preach his word. Ever since the first "hag attack", I have also called on Jesus when these things happen (I usually start sing "Jesus Loves Me") and it goes away rather instantly.
