Well, because you are 14, you are going to have to be willing to give up any and all hope of being alone with a girl for now, so you might tell your mom that you won't ever go anywhere alone with her, and that there will always be a parent present when you spend time together. You might also add that you won't do anything more than hold hands or hug. She might agree to that.  |

BTW from my own experiences, parents are pretty cool about stuff if you are honest and follow through with what you say you are going to do. If you sneak around behind your parent's back a lot, they are going to be less likely to let you have privileges that other teenagers have (like girlfriends or going to parties). |

okay so i didnt tell you such a GOOD thing..lol...im also allowed to date, but i have my limits...anywho...just be patient..maybe she doesnt want you to date for a certain reason, or maybe she doesnt have enough trust in ya in that situation, afterall a parent letting u take that step, would have a lot of gut to let their child, go out with someone else, and have to risk the consenquences. Also your mother may not want u to get hurt,, girls are sassy and yes, we like to do hurt ful stuff (lol) Otherwise im not sure what u should do... just sit back and wait... |

No offense but what you mom says on this issue should be respected. She's your parent and as much as you don't like what I'm saying here, she has the right in this department. Until a child moves out and supports themself, these decisions aren't theirs to make...IMO.  |
