there is still rasism in the school system, but relaly there is nothing you can do about it, certain races will always get away with more than others, even when it is there fault...this has always be the case and will continue to be the case....really you can fight, but you wont win....no way! it is still very storng and i totally disaprove of the whole thing...everyone should be treated equally and as for fights and what ever...its about who threw the first punch, but its also about if they fought back or not and how strongly...its a two way streak two people where involved they should both get punished what ever race they are...however THIS IS NOT THE CASE and thats it!  |

To incidents doesn't make him a racist. He had to deal with two fights. Why are your friends fighting anyway? If the white kid threw the first punch - Adam should have walked away or even let the big jerk pummel him then gone to the principal and had that guy suspended. But he chose to fight anyway. You never did say what started the fight with the cheerleader -- for all we know your Native American friend started it. Same thing applies there though. They shouldn't be fighting. I don't care it those other kids were calling them names, or trying to provoke them. We, each and every one of us, has the power to overcome even the most stupid bully. I don't think your friends were right to fight and I don't think the principal is racist based on these two accounts. Scall |

I have to say both kids should have been suspended. This is surprising, usually Principals and teachers bend over backwards to avoid being called racist, therefore no one gets disciplined in school anymore. They did half their job at least, they just didn't do all of it by suspending everyone involved in the fighting.  |
