There really was incidents about the texas chainsaw massacre in texas. It was in a house just like in the moive. Women, who were abbandoned on the side of the road, would go up to this house, and the man that lived ther *leather face* would kill them and eat them. HUMAN CHILLI. my mom told me that last night after i saw the movie. I believe it really happened. |

I think the nastiest part is when the killers bring out the old father. I thought he was just a corpse, but then he started moving. Then they take the girl Shelly's finger and cut it and the old dead guy starts sucking her blood. It's wonderfully revolting! |

There was NO no real Texas Chainsaw Massacre, BadGirl169. Even the makers of the original had a good laugh on the commentary for the original film about how people still believe that it did happen and how their uncle was a prison guard at the prison Leatherface was in and etc etc. Like they said on the abovesaid commentary, the film was released in August of '75 or so, and filmed in the summer of '74. The events of the film take place in August of '74. So logic says that they filmed the story before and while it happened. LOL. |

I kinda want to see the movie...but I'm not much of a horror fanatic. Matter of fact...I get scared pretty easy. x_x Thinking about it...it would be kind of cool if there really WAS a real Texas Chainsaw Massacre. |

It's possible it was released in '74 and made in '73 - in fact I believe I did mix my dates up and that is the case. Either way, it didn't happen. LOL. If you needed proof I'd get Kim Henkel to tell you himself but he doesn't teach at my university anymore. |

I love horror movies but I am so squemish I had to leave during the beginning of the movie. To me the worst part was the second murder when the guy had his leg sawed off and was hung on the meat hook. I couldn't handle seeing that stuff but now I wish I had seen the whole movie. |
