You know what I'm talking about. Those days where nothing will go right. Well, this weekend shows me why you should never ask, "What else can go wrong?" I start off my day friday by cutting myself while shaving, and it just went downhill from there. I get to school, and I see I made a 59 on my Algebra II test. Yeah, I still haven't told my mom about that. At about 1:30, me and the rest of the football team checked out of school to go to our game that was about 2 hours away from our school. We get onto the charter bus and get going. Right when we get into the sticks, BOOM, a flat. We went about 2 miles before we could find a suitable place to pull over. We get out and the bus is smoking. And then it happened. The bus caught on fire. 50 players, 6 watergirls, 5 coaches, and an angry bus driver are all scrammbling around getting equipment and personal items off the bus. The bus burnt straight to the ground. Luckily, it was deasil and didn't explode. Now, I must admit, the bus burning to the ground was absolutly awesome in some sick, sadistic way. Well, about an hour and a half later, we finally get back going (thanks to some parents) and we get to the game. We lost the game 13-6. Yeah, that sucked pretty bad.
Now for Saturday. I wake up, sore as ever, and I go to watch football at one of my friends house. Now, down here in the South, football is king. Everything stops on Saturday's so we can watch college football. My team, Alabama, lost to Tennessee in five overtimes. My other teams, Auburn and Arkansas, also lost. At that point, I thought, what else can go wrong? That's when one of my friends, on the way home from where I was, had a siezure. She wasn't driving, but when she locked up, her foot hit the accelerator. Luckily, her hand had hit the gear shift into nuetral, otherwise it could have been much worse. Anyway, we rushed her to the hospital. At another part of town, some nut started a fire at another one of my friend's houses, but they put it out before any real damage was done.
It's now Sunday, and my friend is in the hospital (she is doing much better from what I have heard) and all my teams lost, high school and college. Not to mention our bus burnt to a crisp. There was nothing left but the frame. I guess I'm lucky in a lot of ways, but this week has just really sucked.
