Darkness falls upon this childish dream of mine
While forces so evil battle a war not known
Falling down a dark well, but yet I never land
Darkness consumes my every uttered word
I used to care for you, honestly I did
But still you have to lie, kill me from within
You watch as I stare out the window detached
My heart pulls on its strings until you will come through
But yet, that's just another hopeless dream
Things die when it's their time, but why can't I?
Can't death come in and let me breathe it in?
Tears that fall are just signs that I'm weak
Which is why I never do cry in front of someone
I can never find out why I am exactly here
I want so much for you to love me
Like you love your friends
Tell me the secrets that you have enbedded
Because my soul has not be sowed
Left forsaken in this dead place called earth
When everyone just lives to die
I want to dream, and I do, but when can I stop?
Because it's just another failure as I try to move on
People say that you should forget your past
But then say look back on all the memories you have
But if you do then you don't have memories
And it's not as easy as it seems
You have to forget the pain, but also the happiness
So kill me softly as you are
Because you obviously have no heart
Eat away my soul, then trample on my heart
I will come back for you someday though
And eat you away
Make you suffer like you have don to me
In this never-ending twilight
