We are Back from the honeymoon!! :) *Amanda (korngurl) & Ryan (Nakoma) *UPDATE*   Author:  28190  Category:(USM Events) Created:(10/27/2003 8:20:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (684 times) Hello everyone, Mere words cannot adequately express the feelings we have right now just from all the love and support from you all. I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart, first and foremost, because you have given us such a special wedding gift and that is FRIENDSHIP. We love you ALL! :) The night before the wedding I was Soooooo nervous that I couldnt sleep and Ryan was staying the night at his cousin's house. I stayed up a bit and chatted with Dreamerpoet and then finally got some rest. When I awoke Saturday morning, things immediately went into "High gear" and we were off. My sister came and picked me up, and took me over my sister-in-law's apt. to get ready for the wedding. Leanna (my sis-in-law) Did my hair and Make up and my sister helped me into my beautiful dress and went to pick up a video camera for the wedding. Meanwhile, My husband (hehehe, I have a hubby now.. hehe) was at our house getting ready with his best man and groomsman, and he was soo nervous too, he said. They were at the Renaissance Faire a WHOLE hour early because Ryan was sooo nervous he would end up being late that he actually got there way early.. lol :) thats my sweety for ya.. :D My Sister got back with the video camera, and we loaded up her van with the bouquets, and everything. It was about 3:45 and the wedding was to start at Four, and we had enough time to get there.. Or so we thought.. lol We pulled around the block next to the park and there were literally THOUSANDS of people walking around and NO parking place to be found. We ended up driving around for nearly 15 minutes to only find one about 3 blocks away. Which meant we had to walk the rest of the way.. lol... About 15 minutes past four, we finally got there, and I had to send Tamara (my sis) and Leanna to find momma, because I couldnt risk letting Nakoma see me. lol... Tamara finally found her, and when mom was walking towards me, my eyes started to fill with tears and I started to shake a bit too. It was such an amazing feeling though. I heard the Court Jester dubbed Sir William, announce to the Faire goers, "Sir Ryan and Lady Amanda's wedding is about to begin in front of the King's Court." And then Our Wedding song Orion started to play (Beautiful celtic irish song). My nerves hit me like a ton of Bricks.. lol... I couldnt see the wedding party and neither could mom, so we didnt know when to walk.. LOL! So mom and I just stood there until Leanna came around the corner and waved to us to "COME ON!"... LOL... We started walking slowly around the beautiful shrubbery and I saw just how many people were around us and I swear I almost Fainted.. lol... Then I look over to Ryan and he starts to tear up and so do I. Mom was shaking and I was shaking, and I am sure Ryan was shaking too.. lol We stood in front of My sister's Pastor, Brother Hendon, and he proceeded with the wedding..... Such beautiful vows he wrote for us, and he promised to get us a copy of them. I tried to put Ryan's ring on, but it just got stuck on his Knuckle.... I about freaked, but then looked at the crowd and said "oops!" LOL... and they all had a chuckle. My nerves totally went away though as soon as I saw Ryan and before I knew it, We were married. Fairegoers and my wedding party alike all wanted pictures with us, so we got plenty of them. :) The Reception was so much fun too. Irish Raven came to the wedding, and you guys she has got to be one of the sweetest person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I really and truly treasure her being able to come to the wedding and I know that this was just the beginning of a long friendship!!! :) Thanks Megan!! :D At the reception, Nakoma's ring started cutting the circulation off of his finger, and though at the time it wasnt funny it is now. We tried Cooking oil, soap, lotion, and everything else we could think of and NOTHING worked.. lol.. We ended up having to cut it off before it got so bad that he had to go to the ER.. It got cut off, but he just stretched it out at the cut ends and wears it anyway like that, until we get it fixed this next week. :D It was beautiful and I hope that soon I will have pictures up to show you guys. I apologize for it being sooooooo long, but it was so beautiful that I wanted to include every detail I could think of. I know a lot of you were there in Spirit and I just wanted to share it all. hehe I love you guys and Again, thank you so much for the support and love you all sent our way. You have all touched both of our hearts.. *huge hugs* Love, Amanda & Ryan... The New Mr. and Mrs. *UPDATED* Thank you So much to The Thinker (My Aunty Cat) For giving us so many wonderful gifts that will be cherished for many years to come. Thank you so much for the Comforter, the purse with makeup, the ring, the BEAUTIFUL Lace that I made my veil outta of (and a beautiful veil it turned out to be), the beautiful picture of Karen, the Bridal purse, the trims for the veil and the trim I made my mother a velvet choker from... and the special wedding money for the wedding night attire.. hehe :) Thank you Moon Girl for the bath Fizzies.. They definitely came in handy and they smelled sooooooo good in the bath... And the beautiful goblets Moonie, I made special candles with them and we lit them around the Jacuzzi tub on the wedding night.. :) Thank you everyone.. Just so much, I feel like I am leaving someone out, so let me know if I am, I am so sorry if I am, just soooooo scattered brained right now... LOL !
