Transformers -Telsha-

Last night, my boyfriend and I were discussing the show "Transformers" while in his truck. He was talking about how when he was little, he always wanted the Devastator Transformer, but never got it.

I looked on EBay and found a few mint condition ones for under $50.00. They are the original Transformers and not the "made in china" version.

There was another Transformer that he listed off, but it was like a dinosaur. It isn't from Beast Wars, I know that much, but I can't remember what he called it.

I don't want to ask him because then he would know I was kinda looking around for those things. So, here is my question. Does anyone know ANY of the names of the Dinosaur type Transformers?

I've looked online, but didn't really find anything and was becoming frustrated.

Date: 11/12/2003 6:33:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    lol Becky. We kinda do stuff like this for each other. I mean, just last night I was talking about my skin being dry around my waist and he comes over to my house with at least 40 dollars in soap and lotions from this one place we've been that has all the fancy soap made from vegetable oils and stuff. Before that, I bought him a Radiohead sticker thing for his truck that is clear .. because he was talking about how he always wanted one. I like doing stuff like that for him, though.
Date: 11/12/2003 6:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 44850    the only time i have cried at a movie was when i was 6, and optimus prime died. i haven't been the same since. (just wanted to add something to your post ... sorry, don't know their names)
Date: 11/12/2003 6:36:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Thanks, Kurt. I went there and none of them seem familure. I don't remember the name of the dinosaur (like tranasaurus rex, brontosaurus, etc) but I knew we pronounced it different, so I would know it if I heard it. Thanks, though. I will continue to look around on the site.

Date: 11/12/2003 7:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    He is a very lucky man indeed...for his partner to buy him something so special...any man would be so incredibly happy to have an original Devastator. Oh, yeah, I'm sure you are also a reason for him to be lucky too and all that sweet poop...but a Devastator! Wahoo! *snickers*
Date: 11/12/2003 7:38:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    lol kronk. I am guessing it must look SOMETHING like that, but I know it wasn't THAT particular one. I will just try and ask him in a sly way. Hopefully he won't pick up on it.
Date: 11/12/2003 7:39:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    LOL @ agent smith. Are you making fun of me? lol Oh well, I just hope to get him the right ones.

Date: 11/12/2003 8:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 52155    Grimlock was the Dinobots leader and also the most popular. He was a Tryanasaurus Rex. I used to be a MAJOR Transformers nut. hehe
Date: 11/12/2003 8:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    ...why doesn't that surprise me Eddo...

Date: 11/12/2003 8:30:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Kurt, none of those are it, but it sorta sounds like this one Bruticas
Date: 11/12/2003 8:31:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Thank you, Agent. It may seem kinda dorky because they are toys, but I know it will mean something to him at least.
Date: 11/12/2003 8:32:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Oookay, Eddo, lmao. It wasn't a t-rex. It was sorta like a stegasaurus or something weird like that.
Date: 11/12/2003 8:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 54570    Hmm DinoBots is what I can remeber that they were called. Grimlock was a T-rex and was prolly the badest of them all.
Date: 11/12/2003 8:44:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Thanks, Smokin' Joe. I will type that into the search thing instead of the "transformers" Grasias
Date: 11/12/2003 8:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Okay, it was either Terranotron or Triceradon.. YAAAY!! lol
Date: 11/12/2003 9:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 21867    Its not dorky at all Telsha...its actually incredibly heartwarming. Its not the gift, its the reason behind the gift...the fact you listened to what he said, and then put in the effort to track down this gift, without being asked or anything like that. Thats just totally awesome Telsha...and something that is sadly lacking in so many relationships these days. I once did the same thing for a partner...she had mentioned in passing conversation one day about having a 'Glo-Worm' when she was a kid...and how comfortable that little light from the Glo-Worm made her feel when she was all alone at night. So I tracked down a Glo-Worm from an online auctions, brought it and delivered it to her as a surprise. She was blown away that a)I had remembered what she had only said briefly, and b)I'd go through the trouble of finding her one to bring back that childhood feeling of comfort she reminisced about. Peace,
Date: 11/12/2003 11:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 53558    No. So sorry I can't help you out, Telsha. Great big hugs. Take care.
Date: 11/14/2003 7:17:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Agent Smith, that was so nice of you. I understand what you're saying about how in an everyday conversation you pick up certain things and remember them.. kinda like remembering the glo-worm. I had one of those when I was a kid. Hmm, well last night, I casually mentioned the Transformer thing and he said it was the T-Rex.. the one I was SURE it wasn't LOL So I should practice some memory techniques lol Oh well, now that I have that all figured out, time to get searching because Christmas IS coming up.
Date: 11/14/2003 7:18:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    aromatics, it's okay. I figured out the name of the DinoBot.
Date: 11/14/2003 8:13:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39258    Okay, I made my bids for Grimlock and Devastator
