One of my grandma's won a cabbage patch kid on a radio contest (I still have it) and the other grandma won several times on radio games (where you listen for the number the jackpot is up to and if you know you win it). She won that thing several times. :) I personally have not been that lucky.  |

I month or so ago i won a HUGE Down Under Naturals and California Basics gift basket. I got it yesterday, and it was filled with shampoos, conditioners, soaps, shave gel, foot scrub, moisurizers, glitter spray..all that girly girl pretty stuff. oohhh it was niiiiiice.  |

I like these type of posts . I have won 3 big Gatorade care packages . They were full of goodies ! I won a sports book on a Sports Talk Show Trivia contests . My BIGGEST score at the racetrack was $319.00 on a one dollar exacta box . I won a $600.00 dollar CD Player Mini System at a company party once and the grand prize at my wifes company picnic . Well, when I was 18 I won a CD collection from a radio station. It was like 15 CD's...but I never picked it up :(. Also, I won a DVD player from work when DVD players were still kinda new...that was awesome, still have that thing, hehe it's HUGE. Also a few months ago I won a free 3 night stay at Harrahs in Las Vegas and I also won 2 round trip tickets to anywhere SouthWest Airlines flies!!! I was (and still am) stoked about that one!! I'm going to fly to New Orleans! I can't wait!  |

I can't remember everything I've ever one (lots of little contests and a couple radio giveaways) but the biggest thing I ever won was a 1974 VW Beetle. It was being raffled off at a "hippy fest" and I happened to have guessed how many rocks were in a little jar to win the car. Problem is - it's a double-edged sword. Does it count that I won blue ribbons at the County Fair 4 or 5 years in a row for the fancy baby quilts I made? I also won $1,000 at a bank drawing in 1993 and when I was a teenager, I won a contest for having the prettiest lips! lol.  |

remember a movie that came out awhile back called "and you thought your parents were weird" well i entered a contest in a magizine like bop or big bopper and won a t-shirt from that movie. what sucked was i never knew it. my sister got to it first and never told me till years later,lmao. my sister was a sneaky thing ,lol.  |

Good for Hubby!!...I won a bike with helmet once...It was a guy bike...LOL!!...I keeped it for a bit and then sold it to Hubby's cousin...LOL!!...I won a teddy bear when I was a kid in a Lion's Club coloring contest...But, I think that is about it...but, If you count the things I won in school for selling the most stuff...then I won a Jacket, alarm clock...and heaven only knows what else now...I have been out of school for 8 years...Hard to remember now...**Big Canadian Hugs**  |
