Has anyone ever been Hypnotized? (sp?) *PunkStarChik

What's up??

Last night, I went to a comedy club and our comedian was a hypnotist (sp?) His name was Gary Conrad. We were there for two hours and he had about 7 or so people from the audience to volunteer to be hypnotized. It was so funny watching the people doing crazy stuff.

He made the people sleep on each other, hugging the person next to them like a pillow and teddy bear. Some got up to dance, sing, clucked like a turkey, pretended to be Cartman and Kenny from South park and a bunch of other funny stuff.

Gary had one guy pretend that he was a wishbone. So every time Gary said the word "wishbone" the guy had to spread his legs apart. Gary kept saying "wishbone" and the look on the guy's face was so funny. Gary asked him "what's wrong? What's going on?" and the guy says "I'm a wishbone and it hurts" Hehe, it was too funny.

Another girl had a plastic brain on top of her head and every time Gary said "brain" She would kinda freak out because she thought that her brain kept falling out of her head. Gary asked her "what's wrong? What's going on?" and the girl says "My brain keeps falling out"

The last act had the crowded going crazy. Gary put on some dancing music and had the females go into the audience to give guys in the audience a lap dance type of dance. LOL! It was so funny. Then the crowd went even crazier when Gary had the guys to dance. All the guys started to dance on stage, they took off their shirts and then went to the audience to give the females a lap dance type thing.

Yep, I got a lap dance. The guy was really cute too! Hehehe, a nice cute punk rock dude. Then Gary had them all wake up or whatever and the guys were confused and wondering why their shirts were off. LOL! A couple of the guys were so embarressed. But they all laughed about it and said that they had a good time.

I'm glad that I didn't volunter to be hypnotized! They did a lot of crazy stuff up there! LOL! That was my first time to acutally see people being hynpotized. I've only seen it happen on tv. I think that it would be cool to be hynotized but depending on what they would have me do.

They took photos of the people being hynotized so they can see what they were doing and it's going to be on Gary's website at (garyconrad.com) I was up in the front so I'm wondering if I got in the pictures. LOL!

Has anyone ever been hynoptized or seen people being hypnotized before? I thought that it was pretty cool watching. It was funny and everyone had a good and fun time.

And I always thought that people that were being hpnotized could just be acting. He acutally had some people that volunter to step down because they weren't able to do it or something.

Date: 11/19/2003 2:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 59371    I've seen a hypnotist show. It was at the Puayllup Fair. The hypnotist had the people fluff their pillows and a guy was fluffing my sister's butt and she woke up, she had been chosen to go up there. They got up and sung. Also he had a few people in the audience that fell asleep do some funny things. He had a girl kiss her boyfriend evertime he poulled his right ear and a boy stand up and say "I love you man!" when he said coca-cola. It was hilarious, I laughed so much that my stomach hurt. Lol! ~Zenn

This one girl was in between these two guys and they both kept fluffing her together. LOL! She also had a skirt on so Gary had to put a small blanket over her legs, her legs were going all over the place. LOL!

Date: 11/19/2003 2:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 43807    I have been to a hyponiztim show like 4 times. Everytime its even funner, the best was freshman orentation when i was an orentation leader, Bc you knew a lot of the people up there, and you could tease them about it.
Date: 11/19/2003 4:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    I don't think that stuff actually works. I mean, how can you fall asleep in the little amount of time he gives you? I just think it's all an act.
Date: 11/19/2003 4:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 54987    Yeah I was picked out to be a mug. I knew exactly what was going on... and I played the part in front of the audience because I was in front of an audience and that's what the hypnotist looks for... those that like to be looked at. Anyway I could have stopped doing it, but I enjoyed fooling the public too. I'm not saying all hypnotists are fake... no way, but theatrical ones are.
Date: 11/19/2003 5:14:00 PM  From Authorid: 62310    My husband got hypnotized once at the farm fair. I could tell it was real by the look in his eyes. It was weird but REALLY funny. Princess Rhiannon

Date: 11/21/2003 12:25:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Sporti Angel....I guess some people can't really be too sure if it's real or not unless they're the victims. LOL! I dunno, sometimes I still think some are fact but I believe that some people can be hyponotized.
