yet again sorry for the delay in posting, i have been short of time lately...
Dams bosses noticed an increase in his abilities and began to worry that he may become to strong to handle and sent orders that their elite warlocks that an attack on Dam would take place in one week and they were to train more intensly than ever before. Dam senseing this would happen trained also but in secret and only when he was in his own dimension. slowly Dam took full control of his body and began hiding and protecting the people within cities when he was sent to destroy them.
the week went by fast and Dam was ready for the attack, he was sent to an open field that was flat for all the eye could see. he sent out a net to detect his opponents and see how strong they were. he stood there and began to raise his level so that he could take what ever they threw at him when he felt a presence. Slayer slowly approached him, "i know you are changed back and stronger than ever... as strong as you are i ask you not to take on these men alone, i fear that even you don't have the power too..."
"you may stay and help me if you wish but i will not be responicible for your demise if it comes to that. i am also sorry for being so rash with you before, i should have accepted your help when you offered it originally...", Dam said and heartily shook Slayers hand.
"no need to apologize and no need to worry about me...here they come, i can feel it", Slayer responded.
the Elites came in there was atleast 30 of them and each stronger than any opponent other than the Dragon Lord they have faced. Dam sent up a protection spell on himself and Slayer as a basic guard against their foes spells should they make contact. spells of all colors were shot at them from all directions, not having an escape himself Dam sent Slayer out of the blast radius and took the full force of the blast himself. dust flew up into the air and the Elites fired more and more into the dust until they thought they had done enough to atleast disable Dam and Slayer. Slayer looked into the dust and then around, he was unseen and took this to his advantage, diving out from behind the rocks and bushes he charged into a cluster of the Elites and shot out magick from his body mommently stunning them and hid again only to be seen and attacked.
Dam materialized out of nowhere infront of Slayer and took yet more attacks, his clothing battered and torn, his shirt hanging to him only by a thin piece of cloth, looking a little bruised but no worse than that he just laughed at them and began to power up. Slayer too powered up but his power was that of a small dogs compared to that of a bronco. power unleashing into the Elites they began to scream and then they stopped and in turn laughed and sent magick flying out into Dam and Slayer. Dam seen that he may not be enough to handle them all but still wasn't being severely hurt or as hurt as Slayer was. Slayer fell to his knees but kept up the output of magick to its same level as before. Dam stepped infront of Slayer and sent out more magick to protect Slayer and attack his foes.
Slayer stood up slowly, "leave now i will handle this from now, go heal and i will need your help when you are done...", Dam said forcefully to Slayer.
not needing to be told twice he disappeared into a portal Dam had created and began to heal himself, with the damage done to him it could take hours, he only hoped Dam could keep it up. with Dam now alone and no longer fearing for another he broke loose and dropped all gaurds letting the magick tear into him and he slowly began to walk towards the closest of the Elites, cuts appearing and only his pants and boots remaining he continued on as though the pain was what was fueling him, and in a sense it was, he unleashed a wave of magick from his hands and sent it into the Elites and thier attacks dropped significantly as did their health, many fell and began to run but were soon back as Dragon Lord was in the other direction and all traitors were dealt with by him and there was no mercy or quick deaths as the penalty.
